eMachines’ New Widescreen notebook

EMachines introduced its widescreen notebook PC, a couple weeks ago, priced starting at under $1,300. I’ve heard word that you can pick one up at Costco for $1,100. The specs make this machine sound very nice. Reports say that the display is top notch. eMachines have been around for a while and I really don’t know if they make a reliable product but this deal sounds to good to pass up. I’ll do some more dirt digging.

Poor Man’s iBook
I saw eMachine’s new widescreen notebook reviewed on Fresh Gear yesterday. I was going to post about it, but my brother beat me to the punch. This machine is a great value for less than $1,250 dollars….

My first emachine was bought in 2000, and is still running quite well. I have had a few minor problems (to my fault, not the computers!) that have been easily fixed with a bit of assistance here and there. I recently purchased the M5312 laptop and am VERY happy with it so far (it has been 3 weeks). The wireless connection is awesome and the display rox… especially when watching an action DVD. I would recommend purchase of this product to anyone who wants a reliable machine that will serve the average users needs. Happy buying!

I purchase the M5310 at tigerdirect for $999 and it works great. The battery last me over 2 hours on the net. I can actually finish a dvd movie. The wireless lan found my wireless router & I was surfing the net the same day anywhere in my two story house. My processor runs at 1.7ghz. I’m always playing Unreal Tournament 2004 & noproblems. I did upgrade my to run XP Pro. Now I’m debating about replacing my desktop with another one but this time with a DVD burner.
5 Stars!!
